We are looking for a new Chair and Trustees with an understanding of voluntary and community sector infrastructure and an interest in strengthening communities and the organisations that serve them.
If you have a desire to help steer Community Action Redbridge's strategic direction, this is an opportunity to contribute to decision making, whilst gaining professional development, including; experience of sector leadership, charity governance and an insight into how small organisations operate.
We are particularly keen to increase the diversity of perspectives on our board, with trustees from a range of backgrounds, including professional experiences and age.
Trustees joining our board without prior experience at board level will be given additional tailored support, to ensure they feel confident and able to fully participate in their new role.
Trustees are appointed for a four-year term, with the option to extend for one further term.
