Redbridge Equalities and Community Council (RECC) is an established Charity Incorporated Organisation(CIO), with ambitious goals for improvement, transformation and resilience.  

We are committed to equality of opportunity for all and actively seeking to fill vacancies for Trustees to strengthen and build capacity on the Board, to reflect the rich diversity of our communities in Redbridge and surrounding areas.

Trustees are responsible for the governance, overall performance and direction of the Charity.  The role is  voluntary and requires, availability, commitment, flexibility,  attention to detail,  skill and care to serve in the best interests of the organisation. (Trustees are unpaid,  but approved out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed.)

Induction Training, developmental support, information and other training will be offered.

Time commitment:

Board meetings are scheduled 6× per year between 7pm - 8.30pm, currently online.

Areas of specific experience and skills in one or more of the following would be helpful:

● Accounting software e.g. quickBooks

● Risk management and Strategic planning

● Income generation and Investments

● CRM/SEO/AI

● Events/Campaigns
