Applications are now open for Small Sparks Grants!

What is the Small Sparks Fund?  

The Small Sparks Fund offers grants of up to £500 to residents and community groups in the Loxford area who want to make a positive change within their local communities.  

‍

Why are we offering this grant?  

We want to encourage projects that make Loxford a welcoming, connected community where people feel at home. We especially want to help those who may be less involved in community life, such as older adults or people with disabilities, to join in and feel connected.

What does it fund?  

The Small Sparks Fund supports ideas that:  

1. Create local opportunities  

2. Strengthen community bonds  

3. Share skills and time

Example Project Ideas  

Organising a community baking day or music event  

Hosting a workshop to share a skill, like gardening or art  

Making a banner for a local football team  

Setting up a cleanup day

Starting a walking club

Creating an art group for children

Running free cooking classes

Who can apply?

Anyone in Loxford! We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to apply. Gather at least two other people from different families who can help bring your idea to life, and you’re ready to apply!

Please note, the Small Sparks Fund is not open to registered charities, CICs, or organised groups with a constitution.
